FAGapalooza - THE QUEER MUSIC SHOWCASE THAT REFUSES TO DIE

The FAGapalooza music series began under the name LandShark! “Queer Music With Bite” on July 10, 2001 at Finally Fred's in the West Village changing the name of the showcase to it's present name in January of 2005. FAGapalooza's mission is to make the world a gayer place one note at a time by providing an environment for queer musicians to perform their “out” material.

Since it's inception the series has had regular weekly stints at Hannah's Lava Lounge, La Fleur's, SOHO 323, and Siberia. FAGapalooza provided entertainment for and at the Capitol Rainbowfest (Trenton, NJ), O. W. Bar (NYC), Uncle Joe's (Jersey City, NJ), as well as Will Clark's Bad Boys Pool Party (Palm Springs, CA), Porno Bingo (NYC), & Porn Idol (NYC).

The FAGapalooza series is proud to have produced fundraisers for Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Jersey City Pride, The Matthew Shepard Foundation, Metro Gay Wrestling Alliance, Outmusic, The Stonewall Democratic Club and God's Love We Deliver. Among the many acts to have graced the stage are: Houston Bernard, Daniel Cartier, David Clement, Christopher Dallman, Matthew Duffy, Swivel Chair, Justin Tranter, *V*I*R*G*O*, and Yolanda.
